Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
BioPsychometric ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pace of Aging mobile application, which offers several health-risk assessments, and the biopsychometric.com website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: email address and, if you sign in with Apple, the identifiers Apple provides.
Health and assessment data you provide: depending on which assessment you take, this may include:
- Profile details — age, sex, ethnicity, height, and weight
- Measurements — resting heart rate, systolic blood pressure, waist circumference, breath-hold duration, and reaction time
- Cholesterol information — your total-to-HDL cholesterol ratio, if you choose to enter it
- Lifestyle factors — smoking, alcohol consumption, and physical activity
- Medical history — conditions such as diabetes, atrial fibrillation, existing heart disease, and family history of heart disease
- Medications — for example blood-pressure-lowering, cholesterol-lowering, or blood-thinning medication
- An optional neighbourhood socioeconomic indicator (used by the cardiovascular risk assessment)
Some of this is sensitive health information. We collect it only to calculate the assessment results you ask for, and only the fields relevant to the assessment you choose.
Assessment results: the scores and risk estimates calculated from the data above — including your Pace of Aging (biological aging) score, your estimated stroke risk, and your estimated cardiovascular disease risk — together with the history of these results over time.
Subscription and purchase data: subscription tier and status, processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Usage and device data: basic technical information (such as device type and app version) used to keep the Service running reliably.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

International storage and transfer: your data may be stored and processed on servers located outside New Zealand, including in Australia and Singapore, where our hosting and database providers operate. Where your information is transferred across borders, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected in a manner consistent with this policy.
4. Third-Party Services
